• This helps us manage puzzle sessions and track which puzzles have already been served during a puzzle rotation.
• This allows us to avoid unnecessarily serving puzzles you have already solved and helps keep the game experience fresh.

Technical information

When you access ClueBolt, your browser and hosting infrastructure may provide standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and request timestamps. Such information may appear in server or security logs.

3. FingerprintJS / Game Session Identification

ClueBolt uses the open-source FingerprintJS library to generate a browser-based identifier for gameplay sessions.

We use this identifier to improve the puzzle experience. ClueBolt keeps track of which puzzles have already been served to a player so that we can avoid unnecessarily serving the same puzzles again within a puzzle rotation. This helps prevent players from repeatedly receiving puzzles they have already solved and keeps the game fresh.

The identifier is used for gameplay and session management. We cannot personally identify you by your name or email address using this information , and ClueBolt does not require you to create an account or provide your name or email address to play.

4. Why We Collect This Information

Information may be used to:

• manage puzzle rotations;
• prevent unintended duplicate puzzle assignments;

ClueBolt does not use OpenPanel to collect your name or email address for ordinary anonymous gameplay analytics.
